[4K] DX Ghost Driver Review – Kamen Rider Ghost

[Music] you [Music] homer boy this is Aaron Zephyr and he's joined by me speed racer flipper today we're covering the deluxe yep that's a box that is completely 100% a box with stuff and I can we get to the toy now while assembling the toy you will find that the goose driver is a visual treat in terms of design the toy itself is almost like an optical illusion like your eyes are playing tricks on you why are you looking at it the design may look simple from a distance but up close you'll get lost in the intricate details of the toy sculpt details that you might miss at first glance like this creepy grin on the faceplate or this mechanical retina design inside these details are so subtle there's almost like you're seeing things that aren't supposed to be there much like a goose from a purely aesthetic lens the toys design is very eye-opening in the sense that things aren't always what they seem and considering the supernatural aspect of ghosts going for his eye that focus on vision is perfectly fitting speaking of vision the toy provides you with plastic eyeballs be sure retinas on the icons these are the gimmick devices for Kamen Rider Ghost is toy line and will forever be the subject of a lot of Konya puns puns that'll surely get on everyone's optic nerves I see what you did there I'm so clever I risk that I could come up with something as clever well I could be the teacher and you can be the pupil maybe then we could see eye to eye okay I think we should stop well I don't think so seriously we should stop oh okay anyway there are two icons in this set the standard ghost icon and the Edison icon by pressing the button on the side of the icon you will cycle through a set of three little icons that type the transformation and the finisher by themselves there not much else you could do but the real fun begins when you drop them in the ghost driver someone better call an opthamologist because we're about to do some eye dropping oh yeah the ghost icon does this [Applause] [Applause] [Applause] oh man tribe [Applause] [Applause] and the Edison icon does this [Applause] [Applause] [Applause] Oh [Applause] [Applause] electronic function is also pleasing to the eye with a bright color light show to complement the sound effects also the toy blinks at you it literally blinks at you when you pull the lever how could you not find that amusing however what's not amusing is that the toy sounds have to be played in a certain order in other words if you want to play one specific sound you need to cycle through the sounds again to get back to the sounds that you want it's also very important to note that the icons in the icons don't really do anything it doesn't matter what symbol is on display when you shove it in the toy because the toy cycles to salad in a certain order you need to manually cycle through the icons to sync them up with their intended sounds in other words the symbol gimmick on every icon ever from here on out is purely and 100% out of decoration and has absolutely zero functional bearing on the sounds that'll be played in the ghost driver so that might turn you off if you are expecting something a lot more advanced in terms of a gimmick but hang it take what you can get right like most contemporary rider belt the ghost driver is a gimmick centric belt which means if you want to get the most out of it you have to once again pay to play more the truth is you will never get a substantial amount of play value when it comes to purchasing this set alone and that's something that's not going to change anytime soon the ghost driver unfortunately serves has yet another reminder to us at the age of getting a kamen rider belt without having to buy other things separately is over a ghost of a business model that no longer sells that's the grand irony that lurks behind the principle of purchasing a ghost driver whether if you're satisfied with the set alone or you willing to spend your money for more there's one thing for certain with the ghost driver your wallet won't stand a ghost of a chance thank you very much watching this is Aaron Zephyr and speed racer flutter signing out [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause]
